We are pleased to announce that Dr. Beatriz G. de la Torre has joined JYMed Peptide as Principal Scientific Advisor.

Dr. de la Torre has spent over three decades working at the intersection of peptide chemistry and biomedical research, with academic and research experience spanning Spain, the UK, Ecuador, and South Africa, where she currently holds a Research Professorship at KRISP, University of KwaZulu-Natal. Her work covers antimicrobial peptides, cell-penetrating peptides, synthetic methodologies, peptidic vaccines, and biomedical applications, and has resulted in 379 scientific publications, 3 patents, and collaboration on 18 industrial research projects.

She has also taught at Pompeu Fabra University and the University of Barcelona, and supervised 15 doctoral students throughout her career.

At JYMed Peptide, Dr. de la Torre will provide scientific guidance and technical input as we continue developing high-quality peptide solutions.
