Join JYMed Peptide and PDHC for a Webinar on Efficient and Greener Peptide Manufacturing

09/30/2026

How can modern synthesis strategies help make peptide production more efficient, scalable, and sustainable?

On October 21, 2026, JYMed Peptide will join PDHC Spotlight Live for “From Sequence to Scalable Supply: Modern Strategies for Efficient and Greener Peptide Manufacturing,” presented by Prof. Fernando Albericio, JYMed Peptide’s Chief Scientific Advisor and a professor at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

As peptide candidates advance through development, manufacturing processes must meet growing demands for scale, quality, and reliable supply. This webinar will explore how synthesis methods and process choices can help address these challenges while reducing solvent consumption and supporting greener manufacturing.

What the Webinar Will Cover

Prof. Albericio will discuss modern approaches to peptide manufacturing, including:

  • Advances in solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS), liquid-phase peptide synthesis (LPPS), and hybrid strategies.
  • Approaches to reducing solvent consumption and improving process efficiency.
  • Coupling chemistry and alternative deprotection strategies.
  • Key considerations when transitioning peptide candidates from process development to GMP and commercial manufacturing.

The session will connect developments in peptide chemistry with practical considerations for scalable production.

Interactive Q&A with Scientific Experts

Following the presentation, Prof. Albericio will participate in a moderated Q&A supported by Mr. Li Xinyu, Dr. Sajjad Ali, and Dr. Zicheng Liu from the JYMed Peptide scientific team.

Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions about the approaches discussed and explore challenges in peptide process development and manufacturing.
